How To Get Started

Step 1:

Course Selection & Registration

Select your course date and register now by selecting the Register Now tab in the Upcoming Courses section below. The cost of Tuition & Fees are listed in our                                       

Step 2:

Tuition & Payment Arrangement

Immediately after completing your registration form you are required to make a down payment & to schedule your payment arrangement on our Tuition & Payment page. A down payment of $500 USD is required to secure your course. Your down payment will go towards your tuition cost. 

Step 3:

Complete Your Prerequisites

Once your registration form is processed and you have paid or have made your payment plan arrangement for your course you may start completing your prerequisites. This information is listed in the Prerequisites section below.

Must be a black woman, 18 years old or older,

seeking training to become a birth assistant

Confident Businesswoman




Must be CPR Certified OR Must complete the Online CPR Course (Heartsaver CPR AED Online: eLearning portion - Heartsaver CPR AED Blended Learning Course) prior to the hand-on skills sign off session provided by us. 



Resuscitation Program

Must be NRP Certified OR Must complete the NRP Provider Course online (Required: Lesson 1,2,3,4 & 9) prior to the hands-on skills sign off session provided by us. 

Blood Borne Pathogens &

Medical Record Documentation

Must be certified in Blood-Borne Pathogens and Medical Record Documentation prior to attending this course. Link provided below. When registering for these courses if you do not have a medical license number you may type "0000" in its place. You may select another approved provider to complete these courses of your own choosing.



Must have attended at least 3 out-of-hospital births prior to attending your course. Students must provide a record of each birth with the provider's &/ client's initials noted. There is a Home Birth Observation Form in the Start Now button below if you do not have your own birth record. If you need suggestions on how to complete this prerequisites visit our
